If we're a good fit, we'll get dates confirmed after we review contracts and the non-refundable deposit is paid. Once you've made your deposit, you may pay in whatever increments you need, as long as your invoice is settled 90 days prior to your wedding.

Receive


Get a preview of your photos within 48 hours (!!), featuring some of the best moments from the day. Your full gallery will be delivered within 8-12 weeks—ready to download, share, and order prints straight from your gallery.


Frequently asked questions

What's a "next-day teaser"?

Next day teasers are a handful of edited photos that we turn over as quickly as we can so you can start to relive your favourite day even sooner and so you can share professional photos of your day with the people that matter most.

What if we don’t have a wedding date set yet? Can we still inquire?

We absolutely accept inquiries for weddings that don’t have a set date yet! We are happy to let you know our availability and get an engagement session on the calendar so you can test us out risk-free before booking us for your wedding!

How do you protect our photos and/or videos from data loss on the wedding day?

We only shoot on professional-grade gear, and all of our cameras record to two SD cards at the same time (not just one!). This means that if a card were ever to corrupt, we already have an extra copy of your photo and video files. We also replace our memory cards every two years to help avoid issues in the first place.

How many copies of our files do you have after the wedding?

By the end of your wedding day, we leave with at least 14 professional-grade SD cards full of precious memories. We also keep extra empty SD cards on hand all day, just in case we need to swap them out.

How do you protect our files while editing?

Unlike many photographers, I (Hannah) don’t edit original RAW files on a working hard drive. Instead, I edit in Adobe Creative Cloud, which means that even in the event of a computer crash, your files are still safe. Your original RAW files remain untouched the entire time.

How long do you keep our gallery after delivery?

When we deliver your gallery through Pixieset, we let you know that we don’t plan on taking it down anytime soon, and we also keep your final photos saved on a hard drive of our own as an extra safety measure. That said, once your photos are delivered, we’re no longer contractually responsible for your files.

As photographers/videographers, do you have insurance?

Yes! Our business carries general commercial liability, professional liability, and cyber liability insurance—all there to help protect us, our clients, and our data. 🙂

Do you offer payment plans?

We absolutely do! We require a non-refundable deposit upon signing your contract to secure your date. Once you have made your initial deposit, you may pay in whatever increments you need, as long as your invoice is settled 90 days prior to your wedding. We also accept credit card (fees covered by the client).

What if we’re looking for something that’s not in the packages list above?

We get it, every couple is different! If you don’t see anything in our elopement packages, fill out the inquiry form here and we’ll prepare a custom quote for you.

Will we have the ability to print our wedding photos or create an album?

You will be able to download & order prints and wall art straight from your gallery!

What if our plans/dates change?

We will do our best to work with a date change, however, if another client has booked us for a new date, you may need to find another photographer and videographer.

What if the weather is terrible and we have an outdoor wedding?

It suuucks but it happens! That's why we'll be prepared to do this.

What happens if a camera ever fails during our wedding?

We always plan for redundancy. I shoot with two cameras (and so does my second shooter, if that's included in your package). For packages that include video, Jacob films with three video cameras from different angles. Not only does this give us great variety, but it also means we’re covered in case of camera failure. Altogether, we arrive with no fewer than seven professional-grade cameras on your wedding day.

When do you back up our photos and videos?

As soon as we arrive home after your wedding, every file is backed up to:
• a secure hard drive (used only for storage, not editing)
• Adobe Creative Cloud (our working photography files)

We also keep your SD cards stored safely until your files are delivered. This means your RAW files are stored in three separate places until delivery.

How are video files handled during editing?

Jacob stores all video files on two separate SSDs—one working SSD and one storage SSD—so the original video files stay protected while your film is being edited.

Should we back up our wedding photos/videos ourselves?

Yes—absolutely! We highly recommend backing up your photos/videos to a secure hard drive within the first week or so of delivery. This way, no matter what happens in the future, your memories are safe forever. We even send along a cheeky download guide to make the process easy.

What happens if data loss ever occurs?

Thankfully, we’ve never experienced data loss (our worst nightmare!), and we work very hard to keep it that way. In the unlikely event that data loss were to happen and we were at fault, you would receive a refund for the portion of coverage lost, because it would be the only right thing to do.

Do you accept credit cards?

We absolutely do! When you pay with a credit card, the payment processing fees associated with the transaction are added to your invoice.

How quickly can we receive our photos/videos?

If you choose any of the packages that include photos, you'll get your first photo preview within 48 hours, with some of the highlights from the day! A full gallery will follow 8-12 weeks after.

Will our elopement still feel special without guests?
